The 22nd of April is the Planet Earth's day. Professors from the Department of Biological sciences and Bioengineering of IUS, organised a plantation action to celebrate this very important day. 'Venice through the eye of an architect'

For the first time Architecture Program at IUS had opened photo exhibition of students' work titled 'Venice through the eye of an architect' that took place in the main atrium of university building between 11th and 20th of December 2012. The topic was chosen based on the field trip to the world famous Biennale di Venzia where group of IUS architecture students and staff members had a chance to see contemporary architecture exhibit and historical core of Venice. 19th July. 2012 a seven-day-long regional summer school called "Islam in the contemporary World", organized by the Centre for Advanced Studies in Sarajevo was successfully completed. IUS Taekwondo team won the gold medal

On 23.06.2012. in Cultural and Sports Center Bugojno, the 2. Memorial International Taekwondo Tournament "Tarik Ljubuškić-Tara" was held in memory of fallen police officers and friends of Tarik Ljubuškić. Taekwondo club IUS has participated with two athletes Burak Kılıç (68 kg) and Alper Urgun (68 kg), and they both won medals - one silver and one gold. Read more.

Field trip to Canton Sarajevo Therapeutic Community Kampus in Rakovica

As a part of the regular practical work, International University of Sarajevo students that attend Psychotherapy class are required to have a field trip to visit one of the substance abuse therapy centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. So on Friday, May 20, 2011, IUS students led by their professors, visited public institution Canton Sarajevo Therapeutic Community Kampus in Rakovica, around 15 kilometers from Sarajevo. Read more.

Traditional Spring Fest takes place at IUS

Many fun activities and concerts marked this year's IUS Spring Festival that was held on Wednesday, May 17, 2011. The event kicked off at noon with the Tae Kwon Do Show prepared by the Tae Kwon Do Club "Zlatni ljiljan" from Sarajevo. Laboratory practices for IUS students in the best equipped concrete testing lab in the region

As of this spring semester, students of the course ARCH210 Structural Design II instructed by professor Haris Jasarevic had the opportunity to attend new laboratory practices that include concrete w/without additives preparation, curing and strength testing. Besides theoretical knowledge, these practices will equip IUS architectural program students with real-life experience necessary for successful career after the completion of their studies.
