IUS will develop interdisciplinary curricula in the fields of art, sciences and engineering with strong emphasis on the needs of modern society.

The interdisciplinary design of the academic programs offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) and the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) prepares students for the diverse challenges of modernity and technology.

All students experience a two-tier common program that exposes them to a broad variety of disciplines and approaches. The University Courses assist students in acquiring interdisciplinary thinking skills and a holistic knowledge base as well as discipline-specific content. Faculty Courses familiarise students with the undergraduate programs to assist them in their choice of field at the end of the second year.

Students declare majors in their field of interest and choice after the experience of a two-year-based curriculum.

Each academic program will require students to take core and elective area courses. The students will also be able to study several free elective courses outside their major area of concentration.

Before they start with the core curriculum, students without the required English proficiency level enrol in an intensive English Language Program.
