A student's overall semestral or cumulative performance will be evaluated by the:

  • Grade Point Average (GPA): the semestral credit sum (of the number of credits multiplied by the corresponding coefficient) divided by the total number of credit hours taken.
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average (CPGA) evaluated as total credits received from all courses taken since the first year divided by the total credit hours of those courses taken.
  • A student can graduate with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Students with low CGPA may be asked to reduce their semester course load and repeat some courses with C- or low grades to improve their CGPA. Academic advisor will follow student progress and performance and will intervene as needed.
