I am a professor of applied linguistics in the English Language and Literature study program and dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. My significant publications explore the relationship between language learning beliefs, strategies, and linguistic complexity measures. My recent research focuses on the principles underlying personal foreign language teaching models. I am the author of Teaching Adult Language Learners: Enhancing Personal Methodologies.
