Dr. sci. Maida Bećirović is an Adjunct Instructor at the Faculty of Law IUS. She holds a Ph.D. in Law. She is the Secretary General of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The subject of her interest are Commercial Law, including Tax Law, and Law on Obligations. She participated in many projects of GTZ, USAID, UNCTAD, and INTERREG. Dr. Bećirović is an Arbitrator on the list of arbitrators at the Arbitration Court of the Foreign Trade Chamber of B&H, a Member of the Bulldozer Commission B&H (commission for improving the business environment), of the CEFTA experts' group B&H, of the Export Council B&H, and many others. She is an author of many scientific publications, including books, and journal articles.
