Assist. Prof. Dr. Mirza Ljubović is an Assistant Professor of State and Public International Law and the Faculty of Law Programme Coordinator at the International University of Sarajevo. He holds a PhD in Public International Law from the University of Mostar and completed his undergraduate and master’s studies in law at the University of Sarajevo. He also undertook further academic training in Comparative Constitutional Law and European Union Law at the University of Virginia School of Law. His research focuses on public international law, self-determination, secession, statehood, European and comparative law, human rights, migration, and legal history. He is the author and co-author of scholarly articles, book chapters, and research publications, and actively contributes to academic, research, and institutional initiatives at IUS.
