Nejira Mulahmetović, is  an assistant professor at the Faculty of Visual Art and Communications Design, International University of Sarajevo.

She initiated her academic journey at the First Bosniak Gymnasium and pursued Product Design at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo, graduating in 2007.

In 2008, Nejira obtained a scholarship for professional and scientific development at Limkokwing University in Malaysia, where she earned the title of Master of International Contemporary Art and Design Practice. From 2008 to 2013, she served as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Design and Innovation in Malaysia. During this period, she held various leadership roles and received recognition for her contributions.

Between 2013 to 2016 she was lecturer at the Faculty of Graphic Design at Jeddah International University in Saudi Arabia. Upon her return to Bosnia in 2018, she became a lecturer at International Gymnasium SEDEF, instructing in the Cambridge International Program.

Beyond academia, Nejira actively engages in international and local professional projects.
