Bosna Bank International (BBI) d.d. Sarajevo, with the support of partners and in cooperation with TV Hayat launched a competition titled "SBF Start-up Challenge ". The competition is for the university teams, who need to prepare and present their business ideas.
The aim of the competition is to enable young people who have business ideas to realize them and start their own businesses!
The prize fund amounts to more than 60 thousand KM, which, besides direct financial support, includes:
Participants who wish to register do not need to be students of BH universities, they can also be graduates of BH universities. However, they all must be under 30.
University teams and their business ideas will be judged by an expert jury composed of respectable BH. businesspeople and leading people of the most important bh. companies. The competition will be filmed and broadcasted in the TV channel Hayat.
The winning teams will have the opportunity to attend and present their business plans and ideas to potential investors from the country and abroad at the 10th Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) 2019, which will be held from 17th to 19th April 2019 in Sarajevo.
Amer Bukvić the chairman of the BBI Bank Board said that his initial hope was that smart and hard working youth will take advantage of this opportunity. He said: "We want to encourage young people to compete in knowledge, make entrepreneurship popular and promote positive values. The purpose of the project is to raise awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship, and motivate educated young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina to engage in entrepreneurial activities. We want young people to think about how to become employers, how to cash their knowledge in the market through their own entrepreneurial ventures, i.e. how to start and run their own business, ".
