BIOGRAPHY

Jasmin has earned his BSc degree in Biological Science and Bioengineering from IUS in 2009, belonging to the first generation of graduates at IUS. In 2014, he accomplished his MSc, followed by the completion of his Ph.D. in 2020 at the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering at IUS.

In 2010, he commenced his career at IUS as an assistant in the Department of Genetics and Bioengineering, advancing to the role of senior assistant by 2014. In 2013, he initiated his administrative role at the Research and Development Center (RDC) in IUS, progressing to the position of vice manager in 2015.

From 2020 to September 2023, he served as the director of RDC, showcasing exemplary leadership.Throughout his academic career, he has authored/co-authored several scientific papers published in indexed journals. Actively engaged in the scientific domains of Bioengineering research, he particularly focuses on plant model organisms and human genetic studies.

Jasmin currently holds the position of director at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at IUS, where he adeptly applies his acquired knowledge and experience in fulfilling his academic responsibilities.
