SDG Talks: Protected Natural Areas as Examples of Sustainability: Biodiversity, Climate, Health and Policy

The IUS SDG Executive Committee is pleased to announce the next lecture in the SDG Talks series, titled "Protected Natural Areas as Examples of Sustainability: Biodiversity, Climate, Health, and Policy."

Our guest lecturer will be Mr. Ismir Smajić, MSc in Biology and Ecology, PhD Candidate, and Expert Advisor for Biodiversity and Sustainable Development.

This lecture will explore the critical role that protected natural areas—such as national parks, nature reserves, and conservation sites—play as living models of sustainability. Special focus will be given to their contributions to biodiversity conservation, climate regulation, public health, and the development of environmental policy.
