Ummatics Annual Conference 2026

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS), in collaboration with Ummatics, will host the Ummatics Annual Conference 2026 on July 25 and 26, 2026, at the IUS Red Amphitheater.

Held under the theme “The Strategic Umma: Managing Difference, Thinking Beyond Secularism, and Building Future Impact,” this two-day conference will bring together scholars, researchers, students, professionals and community leaders from around the world to discuss some of the most relevant questions facing Muslim societies today.

The conference will provide a platform for meaningful academic exchange and critical reflection on contemporary challenges, future directions and opportunities for stronger cooperation within and beyond Muslim communities. Through keynote lectures, panel discussions and interactive sessions, participants will explore important themes such as unity in diversity, Future Studies, Muslim intellectual thought, approaches to secularism and collaborative models for community development.

By hosting this event, IUS continues to support international academic dialogue, interdisciplinary exchange and engagement with topics of global relevance. The University is proud to welcome distinguished speakers, participants and guests to Sarajevo and to contribute to conversations that encourage deeper understanding, long-term thinking and constructive cooperation.
