Aida Akagić-Hodžić, Ph.D., is a Co-founder of the Association for the Development and Affirmation of Society BNL. She is a public governance expert working with GIZ for the Western Balkans for 6-9 cities to strengthen project teams of government units to use more efficient project funds. Previous experience includes strategic, communication, networking, management, and action planning experience within projects of the City of Sarajevo, Delegation of EU in BiH, Directorate for European Integration in BiH, Ministry of Social Policy in Canton Sarajevo, Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, USAID, UNDP, etc. Aida is an experienced consultant and researcher with a multidimensional approach; in past years, she has been working with different stakeholders, introducing new management approaches and innovations for BiH society, especially for CSO and government sector. The current focus of Aida's work is on circular economy and IT management. She is the author of 16 articles, including the last published in the European Journal of Business and Management Research, titled "The influence of IT on the development of contemporary competencies of public sector employees in BIH in a changing working environment".
