Mobility Coordinator (1 position, m/f)

 

Position Title:

Mobility Coordinator at the International Relations Office (IRO)

 

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Social Sciences;
  • Excellent computer literacy;
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken);
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages is considered an asset;
  • Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages the incoming and outgoing mobility activities of students and staff at and from IUS.
  • Is familiar with, and when required or directed, assists with student recruitment and admissions, visa and residence permit procedures, and other duties assigned through the IRO duty roster or by the IRO Manager.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient planning, coordination, and implementation of mobility activities.
  • Identifies, establishes, and maintains new institutional contacts and partnerships to expand mobility opportunities and promote other forms of cooperation arising from international collaboration.
  • Provides guidance, training, and support to incoming and outgoing students and staff participating in mobility programs.
  • Assists exchange coordinators in carrying out their responsibilities by providing orientation, training, and administrative support.
  • Supports relevant university offices in the implementation of processes and activities related to incoming and outgoing mobility programs.
  • Maintains accurate records of mobility activities and ensures the timely preparation, dissemination, and archiving of all relevant documentation.
  • Coordinates and maintains the flow of mobility-related information, including official correspondence, email communication, IRO social media platforms, and other communication channels relevant to assigned responsibilities.
  • Prepares reports, presentations, informational materials, and other documentation as requested by the IRO Manager.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and participates in activities for incoming students and staff, including hosting duties and other events related to mobility programs.
  • Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with all relevant stakeholders to facilitate effective cooperation and successful implementation of mobility initiatives.
  • Promotes awareness of mobility opportunities, international programs, and related initiatives through appropriate communication, promotional activities, and outreach.
  • Ensures that all mobility-related information is accurate, up to date, and readily available to students, staff, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates closely with institutional partners to strengthen the international presence and reputation of IUS within Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
  • Performs any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the IRO Manager.

Additional Information:

The selection process includes a preliminary assessment of skills and motivation for shortlisted candidates.

The selected candidate will be offered a one-year fixed-term contract, including a six-month probationary period.
