Student Exhibition: Sevdah in Type

Join us for the opening of Sevdah in Type, a student exhibition by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, International University of Sarajevo (IUS), created in collaboration with the Museum of Sarajevo.

Through expressive typography and contemporary graphic design, students reinterpret the poetry, emotion, and cultural heritage of Sevdalinka, transforming Bosnia and Herzegovina's musical tradition into a compelling visual experience.

The exhibition is the result of an interdisciplinary educational project organised, coordinated, and mentored by Assist. Prof. Nejira Mulahmetović (VACD & MAC), Dr. Damir Kahrić (ELIT & ELT), and Assistant Dino Šahović (VACD), bringing together typography, literature, music, and cultural heritage.
