Admir Mešković, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Faculty of Business and Administration. He earned his Ph.D. in 2022 at the University of Sarajevo. His research interests include financial management, Islamic economics and finance, public finance, risk management, ESG, and sustainable development. He won the prestigious Chevening Award in 2019 and did an MBA at the Durham University Business School in the United Kingdom. His educational background also includes an MA in Islamic Banking, and another MA in Banking and Insurance. He has published in several reputable journals, including the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, the Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research 15 (6), and the European Journal of Islamic Finance. He is currently President of the Economics and Social Research Institute and a Journal Manager at the Journal of Economics, Law, and Society (JELS).
