Anes Kazagić, PhD in energy engineering earned at Mechanical School of University in Sarajevo in 2009, has 20 years-experience working at EPBiH power utility, exercising today the role of Head of the Strategic Development Dept. and duties of Energy Efficiency Manager. He is the team leader of the Decarbonisation Plan of EPBiH power utility, a coordinator of RES development projects in EPBiH, and team leader of R&D projects from the EC Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe program. He is an evaluator of European Commission on Horizon Europe program Pathfinder. He is a second proposer of the COST Action CYPHER. He has a research background in the field of biomass co-firing and sustainability of energy systems. He is a presidency of Adria Section of the Combustion Institute and member of several international and national scientific and expert associations.
