Meliha Teparić was born in Sarajevo; a multimedia artist, art historian, and curator. She studied (BFA &MFA) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, Department of Painting, and she received a Ph.D. from the University of Zagreb (Croatia) at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Department of Art History. She has been actively exhibiting since 1997, and so far, has had numerous exhibitions in the country and abroad, more than 70 collective and 11 solo exhibitions. Aside from her artistic practice, she has published many articles about art & cultural heritage. Teparić has participated in many conferences, workshops, art meetings, and other art projects.
