Nedžmija Karić completed her undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the same field at the International University of Sarajevo. She is engaged as a Scholarship Assistant on courses in Computer Science and Software Engineering. She gained practical experience through internships, including the British Council’s Her Cyber (Women4Cyber) programme, where she worked in a cybersecurity environment, as well as through mobile development projects using Flutter. Her current focus is on her Master’s research project, which explores fairness and bias mitigation in machine learning models, with an emphasis on building transparent and responsible AI systems.
