Sümeyye Kuşakcı completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Between the years of 2008 and 2015, she served as an assistant lecturer at the International University of Sarajevo. At the same university, she completed her doctoral studies. Her dissertation, entitled Islamic Books of Advice: An Aspiration Applicable to Modern Management, explores the Turkish Islamic civilization’s approach to leadership. 

From December 2017 to September 2025, she was a member of the School of Business at Ibn Haldun University. As an assistant Professor, she taught various core management courses and also served in administrative responsibilities such as Quality Agent, Erasmus Coordinator, and Head of Department. Over the years, she has supervised more than 20 graduate theses and actively participated as both a researcher and project leader in numerous research initiatives. She provided academic consultancy to one of Turkey's leading aviation companies and has made significant contributions to student training programs for various NGOs.
