Dr. Yılmaz Gür is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering study program at IUS. He was awarded a governmental scholarship for his doctoral studies in Engineering Design at the University of Leeds from 1991 to 1996, where he was supervised by Prof. Alan De Pennington and Dr. Tim David. His PhD research focused on "The Integration of Engineering Analysis into the Engineering Design Process."

Currently, he serves as the Program Coordinator for both the Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering study programs. His research interests include engineering design, analysis, and 3D printing. Dr. Yılmaz Gür has published numerous articles in reputable research journals, achieving various rankings in SCImago (Q1, Q2, Q3).
