Exhibition - Creative Responses to Samuel Beckett’s writing

This exhibition is based on the MA course, Comparative Studies in Drama, which explored the drama for stage, television and radio, fiction and film of Samuel Beckett. The photographs, images and written pieces in the exhibition are the creative responses of the students and lecturer to the themes and ideas covered in the course, which was primarily focused on Beckett’s creative imagination. We hope that this exhibition will convey the stimulating nature of the course and introduce more people to Beckett’s work. To support this latter aim, we will be screening film adaptations of certain plays by Beckett during the exhibition.
