Book Launch: "Close Encounters of the Poetic Kind"

"Close Encounters of the Poetic Kind" is edited and translated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Vesna Suljić and Mehtap Özer-Isović. The book contains poems by contemporary Australian and New Zealand poets, who discuss themes such as love, life, friendship, but also environmental and historical topics.

The translators will talk about cultural similarities and differences, and also about translation, publishing and other challenges they experienced during the process of creating the book.
