Transitional Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina: A Case Study of Srebrenica
The Faculty of Law (FLW) is hosting an event to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Genocide in Srebrenica. The distinguished speakers include Prof. Dr. David Pettigrew, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar, FLW Dean, and Ms. Kada Hotić, a member of the Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa Enclave.
Prof. Dr. Pettigrew will explore the theoretical aspects of the Genocide in Srebrenica and the challenges of memorialization. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kazić-Çakar will focus on the procedural aspects of the verdicts related to the Srebrenica case, while Ms. Hotić will speak on behalf of the victims.
