
Ali Osman Kuşakcı, Ph.D., earned his degree in Industrial Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology in 2006, followed by a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Financial Engineering from the same institution. In 2008, he joined the International University of Sarajevo as a research and teaching assistant, conducting studies in machine learning and nature-inspired algorithms. He completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at the same university in 2013 with a dissertation titled “Constrained Optimization with Evolution Strategies: Adaptive Approaches.” Dr. Kuşakcı later served as the director of the university’s R&D Center, where he led “capacity development” projects supported by the Islamic Development Bank. He continued his academic career at Istanbul Commerce University, focusing on research in reverse logistics and sustainability. He subsequently joined Ibn Haldun University, where he designed and directed master’s programs in Aviation Management and Business Analytics, in addition to providing professional training. He also served as the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Ibn Haldun University.
