Dr. Özge Büyükdağlı is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, International University of Sarajevo. Her academic and professional work focuses on mathematical modeling, optimization algorithms, artificial intelligence applications, and interdisciplinary engineering solutions. Her research interests span optimization, data-driven decision support systems, AI-assisted analysis, and the use of intelligent technologies in complex engineering and societal problems.

In recent years, Dr. Büyükdağlı has been actively involved in interdisciplinary research and international projects addressing safety-critical systems, intelligent defense technologies, drone detection, and the integration of artificial intelligence into real-world engineering applications. Through her roles in academic leadership, international research collaborations, and institutional initiatives at IUS, she contributes to projects that connect technology, security, education, sustainability, and public engagement.

Dr. Büyükdağlı is also an active member of the IUS Sustainable Development Goals Committee, where she supports responsible education and sustainable institutional development.
